Col Eyres opened the annual PSel conference by reading a letter from the Chief of Military Personnel[text to follow when I get it]. In brief, CMP stated that he had decided to merge the PSel branch with the Training Development branch along with some unspecified elements of the Log branch to form a new Human Resources Branch. No details or timeline are available. Approximately 85 members of the PSel branch were in attendance to hear this sad news. I think it only really started to sink in when later at the PSOA AGM members started to ask about the future of the kit shop. Whether it was worth while to buy new stock. How do we split up the assets etc. I will post more as the events unfold.
